How safe is Morocco as a destination?
It’s understandable that many travelers are quite afraid of visiting Northern Africa these days, due to various reports of terrorism and violence all over the world. Don’t worry though: Marocco is one of the only safe Islamic countries that are safe for travels. Especially in the southwestern metropolis Marrakech you’ll see a lot of police and security personnel, which give tourists and natives alike a sense of security. We do strongly advise to stay away from large conventions or demonstrations though, just to be sure. On top of that we advise to sign up for a travel insurance.
